Scope

This policy explains how Child & Jackson handles information in connection with our text-messaging (SMS/MMS) program. It supplements any general privacy policy of the firm.

Information we collect

In connection with SMS, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of the messages you exchange with us, and any photos or documents you choose to send. We use this information solely to communicate with you about your legal matter and to maintain your case file.

How we use your information

We use your mobile information only to provide case-related communications and services you have requested — for example, to send updates, reminders, and document requests, and to receive documents and questions from you.

Sharing of your information

We do not share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties for marketing. We may share information only with service providers that help us operate the messaging service (for example, our messaging platform provider), and only as needed to deliver the service, or where required by law.

Opting out

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.

Data retention and security

We retain SMS communications as part of your client file consistent with our professional and legal obligations, and we take reasonable measures to protect that information.
